The business was founded in 1990 as Meguiar’s Australia by the owner and Managing Director, Bruce Morrison. The name was changed to MotorActive in 2005 as the business expanded into a broader and much larger portfolio of brands and services.
In addition representing prominent international brands; Meguiar’s (USA), Liqui-Moly (Germany) and House of Kolor (USA). MotorActive has developed a growing array of its own respected brands including; Designer Wraps, ColorSpec, American Legend, MotorMerch, MotorEx, Cruise for Charity and FreeStyle Rides. Through this continual growth, MotorActive now employs more than 40 valued staff here in Australia and in its expanding American business, MotorActive USA.
With its roots tying back to the 100 year-old, premium enthusiast car care brand, Meguiar’s, MotorActive has been extensively involved in the automotive enthusiast market for the entirety of its 25-year existence, enabling it to build up a wealth of knowledge and experience.
